OMC OFFERS A COMPLETE RANGE OF SWIVEL JOINTS TO SATISFY THE CUSTOMER’S NEEDS, THE RESULT OF MORE THAN FIFTY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD OF RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF LIQUID TRANSFER TECHNOLOGIES.
Our range includes swivel joints adaptable to different types of rotation. The different materials used for the rotating units and the internal sealing surfaces are selected according to the product to be handled. The raw materials for construction range from aluminum to normalized carbon steel, from stainless steel to super alloys such as Duplex and Hastelloy. The variety of OMC swivel joints includes diameters from 1” to 12” and seals suitable for aggressive products or with particular operating conditions: nitrile rubber (NBR), hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR), Viton® (FKM), Teflon® (PTFE) and Kalrez® (FFKM).
We carefully research and select the best raw materials to obtain a final product with high performance and mechanical characteristics, so as to guarantee reliability and long operating life, even in conditions of intense work. Our swivel joints are entirely made with CNC numerical control machines and individually subjected to dimensional control and hardness tests.
The main feature of our carbon steel swivel joints is the double row of ball bearings on hardened and ground bearing races, which confer high load capacity, safety and longer life. We carry out pressure tightness tests on the main liquid transfer systems with a safety factor equal to 150% compared to the design pressure. Quality controls are carried out in accordance with the procedures of our quality system as per UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 standards.
Our swivel joints are designed to withstand severe operating conditions such as high temperatures, pressures and loads.
